What is the proper orientation for corona rings?

I-String - Orient the gaps to be in line with the conductors, meaning the gap should be directly above the conductors.
Deadend - Orient the gaps inside, so that they are facing each other.
V-Strings - Orient the gaps inside of the V, facing each other.
Line Posts - Install the corona rings with the gap pointing down (towards the conductor).
Braced Line Posts - install the corona rings with the gap pointing down on the Suspension (towards the conductor). If a Line Post has a ring, install this down towards the conductor as well.
